The Sony Discman D-181 is a classic model from the late ’90s (launched around 1998). While it wasn’t a top-of-the-line model, it stood out as a real ‘workhorse’: reliable, straightforward, and boasting excellent power management. It is fast at reading discs, precise, and delivers an immersive sound.
